Toys like this (and all the cool Lego sets that weren't available 20 years ago) make me wish I was 10 years old again. The Hydrodynamic building kit contains water tanks, tubes, pumps, valves and other stuff to build all sorts of high tech fountains. You build a frame, put all the elements you want on it and connect them with tubes and valves. The entire setup is then placed in a tray of water, connected to a pump and then switched on. If you did it right, you get a cool fountain. If you did it wrong, better hope there's a towel nearby!
To make it even cooler, you could add some sort of dye to the water. Fluorescent dye combined with a blacklight would give a really incredible effect!
